Areas of Specialty

As a former school teacher, Professor in charge of the School Psychology Department at the University of San Francisco, and licensed psychologist, I have worked with children and teenagers for the past 35 years.

My services include meeting with parents to define the youngster's learning difficulties, then administering psychoeducational tests to help identify what may be causing those difficulties. These tests include:

  • Standardized tests of intelligence
  • Learning ability assessment
  • Achievement tests
  • Perceptual-motor awareness
  • Personality appraisal
Often these tests reveal learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, or behavioral problems that must be addressed.

Dr. Komm offers medical and clinical evaluations for adults. Such services could include evaluations for bariatric surgery, substance abuse and other clinical problems that face adults.
